Vanessa Amorosi will be Kissed next month. The Aussie rock chick has been announced as the special guest of Kiss when they play at the Formula One Grand Prix on March 16.
Vanessa, who has already outted herself as a Petrol-Head, said in a statement "Having raced cars before and being a huge Grand Prix fan, I am excited to be singing the National Anthem and to be performing at the post-race Kiss concert. If pre-season testing is any indication, Mark Webber could be a real chance of a podium. I'll be trackside, cheering him on along with the rest of the crowd!"The show will be a prelude to the release of Vanessa's long awaited album 'Somewhere In The Real World', due in May.
The new single from the album, 'Perfect', written by Melbourne songwriter David Franj, will be released on March 31.
Vanessa is no stranger to big events. She has done one of the biggest... the Olympic Games in Sydney. She also sang at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
