Storied vocal group The Ten Tenors tempt fate with a new album called Double Platinum and a national tour.
The group has certainly scored their fair share of sales in their decade and a half as a dectet (give or take a tenor over the years).
They’ve sold 200,000 albums, toured five continents, and performed at iconic venues like Sydney’s Opera House, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
Now they return with their tenth album, a double-album, ambitiously titled Double Platinum and released on July 15.
They go every which way on this album, covering everything from Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ to Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ to the Beatles’ ‘Hey Jude’ to the gold operatic standard ‘Nessun Dorma’.
The Ten Tenors will also be touring the country throughout August. Check out the dates below.
