A Metallica edition of Monopoly will be released next week.
Monopoly manufacturers Hasbro has inked Metallica for the edition after previously putting out special editions of the game featuring The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Kiss.
Hasbro are yet to make an official announcement about the game but Metallica have it listed as “next week” on their website.
Fans are divided over the idea with many talking in the band’s official forum of Metallica “selling out”.
No other details about the game are known at this stage but like The Beatles, The Stones and Kiss versions, the board is expected to be themed around Metallica songs.
