Lady Gaga retains the number one slot on this week’s ARIA Chart wrap.
Born This Way spends a second week at the top of the ARIA Album Chart, holding Adele’s monstrous 21 back at number two.
The Glee juggernaut is also ceaseless, with the sixth volume of the music debuting at number three.
In a huge indie debut, US saps Death Cab For Cutie go top ten, Codes And Keys coming in at number seven.
Also, Aussie club crew The Potbelleez debut at number 17 with their new album Destination Now.
Two country albums debuted in the top 50, Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music at 26 and Adam Brand’s You’re A Revhead at 39.
The only other debut of the week goes to Sydney’s young modern rockers Papa VS Pretty with United In Isolation coming in at number 40.
Otherwise, the top twenty is the usual suspects – Jessie J, Bruno Mars, Damien Leith, James Blunt, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lady Antebellum and the surprisingly resilient Wombats.
Fleetwood Mac, Foster The People and Gurrumul are also holding well there.
For some reason Florence + The Machine’s seemingly eternal Between Two Lungs shot back up from 45 to 23 after 73 weeks in the chart.
Touring and new releases pulled Kylie’s Aphrodite, Gaga’s The Fame and Glee’s Showstoppers back into the top 50.
Big drops this week were Jennifer Hudson’s I Remember Me dropping from 26 to 45 in its second week and Ben Harper’s Give Til It’s Gone slumping from 16 to 36 in its third week.
On the Single Chart LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem’ tops the charts for the billionth week and is now four times platinum.
