The Adele juggernaut rolls on but City And Colour run up to second spot on this week’s ARIA chart.
There wasn’t a huge amount of action on the chart today, but it’s nice to see Candian folkie Dallas Green and his City And Colour project hit number two with the new album Little Hell.
Lady Gaga holds at three, Seeker Lover Keeper stick around at four in their second week, then there’s Jessie J, Glee, Bruno Mars, Adele again, Foo Fighters, and Arctic Monkeys making up the top ten.
All Time Low debut at 13 with Dirty Work and Carrie Underwood’s promo tour helped Play On debut at 14.
Aloe Blacc is a surprise at 22, as was the Transformers: Dark Of The Moon soundtrack which debuted at 35, and British tenor Russell Watson popped in at 49 with La Voce.
Otherwise, there was little movement apart from Gurrumul slipping from 27 to 40 and The Potbelleez slipping from 26 to 43.
Amazingly, this is Florence + The Machine’s Between Two Lungs 75th week in the chart and it’s all the way up at number 15.
And until we report otherwise, it’s safe to assume that LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem’ will remain number one on the singles chart until the end of time.
