Audio engineer Greg Clarke, who worked with Rose Tattoo and Billy Thorpe, will be farewelled in Sydney next Wednesday, June 8th.
Greg died this week from a suspected heart attack. Autopsy results confirming cause of death will not be known for three weeks.
A funeral service will be held at Notes Nightclub at 75 Enmore Road, Newton at 11am on Wednesday followed by reception with “tall tales” at midday.
Greg worked with Rose Tattoo from January 2006 until the time of his death. His Facebook profile described that job as “the bus driver, drinker getter, knob twiddler, rehearsal coordinator and butt of many jokes”.
He was also the IT Manager for Chugg Entertainment from 1995 until 2007 and tour manager, production and audio engineer for Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs from 1995 up until the time of Billy Thorpe’s death (also from a heart attack) in 2006.
