Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah calms suspicions that the hip-hop crew won’t show for their Australian dates.
A few weeks back the posters went up, the Facebook page was set, for a Wu-Tang tour in Australia.
Knowing the track record of hip-hop tours in Australia and Wu-Tang tours anywhere, fans were excited but wary.
Now the eminent Ghostface Killah, of Wu-Tang and as a respected solo MC, has confirmed that the Shaolin monks of hip-hop are certainly invading Australia.
He spoke to triplej recently, saying, "We coming over there to mash out and we're going to be over there definitely.”
Ghostface even mused upon which members of the sprawling group will be on board. He said, "I don't know who signed off but you got GZA, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killah and I think Raekwon might go. Hopefully everyone will come, by the grace of god.”
He continued, “We got love for Australia and Australia has love for us. We wish we could come over there more often but we just need the right promoters to call us and stuff like that."
Over 10,000 people have given the ‘Wu-Tang Clan Tour Australia’ Facebook page the thumbs-up but they are still yet to post dates.
