The mooted Wu-Tang Clan Australian tour has been given dates, but they won't bring out mastermind RZA.
Triple j report that the Wu-Tang Clan have delivered dates and a line-up of which members will be visiting, although the official site for the tour hasn’t yet confirmed the details (they say they’ll announce tomorrow).
According to the radio network we’ll get: Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, GZA, U-God, Masta Killa, DJ Allah Mathematics, DJ Street Life and the son of the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, Young Dirty.
That’s almost the entire original gang, except for the producing genius and rhymer RZA, who is apparently shooting a film with Russell Crowe and won’t be available to tour.
Wu-Tang Clan are supposedly playing Sydney and Melbourne with support from Phaze One (a collaboration between producers M-Phazes and Emilio Rojas) and Perth with hip-hop crew Vents. There are no Brisbane or Adelaide dates as yet.
More details as they come to hand, of course.
