Indie oddball Liam Finn airs the first single ‘The Struggle’ from his forthcoming second album.
Finn turned many heads with his debut I’ll Be Lightning, scoring praise from The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and all through the local press.
He toured the world on it as well, alongside Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy and Wilco.
He spent the last few months in New Zealand’s Roundhead Studios with Burke Reid who was in Gerling and has produced albums with The Mess Hall, PVT, The Drones and Dan Kelly among others.
What resulted is FOMO, his second album, out through Liberation in June. The first single is ‘The Struggle’, which is at radio now.
Liam Finn is off right now to South By South West in Austin, Texas, and another 14 shows throughout the US.
