Warner Music’s forthcoming ‘Big Hair Rox’ compilation looks a lot like the ‘Rock of Ages’ soundtrack.
22 of the songs from ‘Big Hair Rox’ are also featured in the ‘Rock of Ages’ musical, now playing in Melbourne.
‘Rock of Ages’ has been playing to packed houses since it opened at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre in April.
The Australian show stars Justin Burford and Amy Lehpamer. Justin is from Perth band End of Fashion.
The ‘Big Hair Rox’ compilation features the original songs from the 80s the show including tracks from Poison, Starship, Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, Foreigner and REO Speedwagon.
Warner will release ‘Big Hair Rox’ on May 27.
