Motorsport’s most prestigious event, the Formula 1 Grand Prix is in Melbourne at the moment, and tomorrow’s race is going to be ushered in with ‘Rock of Ages’ stars Justin Burford and Amy Lehpamer.
The pair will sing the national anthem at 4:50pm which will be broadcast to an audience of over 600 million viewers from around the world.
Preview showings of ‘Rock of Ages’ have already kicked off this week at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne. During it’s Broadway run it was nominated for five Tony awards. Apparently bands like Foreigner, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon and more still jerk at people’s heartstrings.
The official opening night is on Saturday, April 9, 2011. I am secretly very excited. Don’t tell anyone.
