Justin Burford of Perth pop rockers End Of Fashion will take the lead in the retro stage show Rock Of Ages.
Burford will play Drew in the local version of the Broadway hit, that was nominated for five Tony Awards and has constantly packed houses on Broadway, across the States and into Canada.
Rock Of Ages centres around classic hard rock anthems from Journey, Europe, Pat Benetar, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Styx and over twenty more artists who ruled the ‘80s.
It revels in the big hair and big egos of the spandex clad dreamers on Sunset Strip.
The Australian and New Zealand seasons follow success in London, Vegas, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Japan and Korea.
Tickets will go on sale Monday November 29 and the season begins at the Comedy Theatre from April 9 next year.
