Liam Gallagher has said that he’ll never go back to Glastonbury, saying it’s “like Bond Street with mud.”
In an interview with News of the World, Gallagher said “The sound is shit and really quiet.”
“And now it’s like Bond Street with mud,” he continued. “With loads of celebrities walking around in their boots and umbrellas. I’m not having it.”
It’s not the first time the Gallaghers have complained about the festival. The usually less-cranky Noel Gallagher referred to Jay-Z’s 2008 headline spot as “wrong”.
It worked out well for Jay-Z in the end though. Check out this video of him delivering ultimate PWNage to Oasis in the form of a good old fashioned ‘Wonderwall’-raping from the main stage in front of thousands:
In the meantime, Gallagher’s new band Beady Eye have released their debut album, and no one cares.
