The BIGSOUND music conference in Queensland has opened applications for showcases for the 2011 event.
BIGSOUND 2011 will take place in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane’s music precinct from September 7 to 9.
Artists are now invited to apply to showcase at this year’s conference. Last year featured Washington, Glenn Richards, Boy & Bear, Hungry Kids of Hungary , Children Collide and Dan Kelly.
"BIGSOUND has an undeniable natural momentum,” said BIGSOUND programmer Graham Ashton. “That, along with the calibre of artists we are attracting leaves us confident the 10th anniversary will prove to be a unique gathering of the tribe for the music community both locally and internationally. The speakers in a our first announcement are certainly a testament to this."
