Hyped Sydney act Deep Sea Arcade head to the UK, will play Spain’s Primavera, and drop their first vinyl record.
The retro garage act have been the buzz of the industry for a while now, finally signing to Ivy League Records (home of Cloud Control, Sparkadia, Josh Pyke and more).
The hype seems to be justified, as they'll be shooting overseas before they’ve even released an album.
They’ll be the only Australian act to play the massive Primavera Festival in Spain, alongside Pulp, PJ Harvey and The Flaming Lips, among others.
While they’re on that side of the world, they’ll also play the UK’s Great Escape Festival and shows in Manchester, Liverpool and London.
They’ll be releasing their single ‘Lonely In Your Arms’ on 7-inch vinyl on UK label New Music Club, and the song has already been played on BBC Radio 1 by influential DJ Zane Lowe.
Before they head off on their venture, Deep Sea Arcade support Washington and Lissie from tonight until next Thursday.
