Unsurprisingly, the Foo Fighters stay at number one on an ARIA Chart alongside promising Australia debuts.
Foo Fighters rule the mid-Easter chart, and will probably hang around for a while, but some Aussie artists have debuted very well.
Adele still can’t hit number one, hovering at second spot, and Gurrumul’s second album Rrakala debuted at number three.
Damien Leith’s Orbison tribute Roy burst in at number five, just edging out alt-rock survivors Jebediah with Kosciuszko debuting at number six.
Snoop Dogg’s all-star Doggumentary debuted at number 12, TV On The Radio’s Nine Types Of Light entered the chart at 25, Gorillaz’s iPad album The Fall popped in at 41, and local dancefloor-fillers The Aston Shuffle scraped in at 45 with Seventeen Past Midnight.
Other than new entries, there wasn’t much movement in the chart.
Architecture In Helsinki dropped off from a number 12 debut to 27 and Gypsy And The Cat’s Gilgamesh re-entered the chart at 48, probably on the back of the Kylie tour.
And Angus And Julia Stone have racked up 58 weeks in the chart with Down The Way but look to be on the way out at 49.
