It’s a real mixed bag in today’s new releases, with Snoop Dogg, TV On The Radio, Gorillaz, Gurumul, Damien Leith, Jebediah and stacks more.
Snoop’s latest The Doggumentary will probably be the big one, with fans and other hip-hop stars raving about a return to form.
We’ve also got long-awaited albums from TV On the Radio with Nine Types Of Light and Jebediah with Kosiusko.
Damien Leith offers up Roy: A Tribute To Roy Orbison and Gorillaz deliver their minimalist iPad album The Fall.
Then there are albums from singer-songwriters Cass McComb (Wit’s End), Eli Paperboy Reed (Come And Get It), and indigenous icon Gurrumul (Rrakala)
Dancefloor kings The Aston Shuffle deliver Seventeen Past Midnight and post hardcore act Thursday release No Devolucion .
Hip-hop act Atmosphere give us The Family Sign, metallers Amon Amarth have Surtur Rising, Alison Krauss and Union Station offer Paper Airplane, Bill Callahan aka Smog releases Apocalypse and Dave Graney drops Rock N Roll Is Where I Hide.
So really, something for everyone.
