America Back In US Chart

70s band America are back in the US chart with 'Here & Now', their highest debuting album since 1977.

'Here & Now' was produced by James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins and Adam Schlesingler from Fountains of Wayne.

Special guests include Ryan Adams on 'Ride On', Ben Kweller with Jim James and Patrick Hallahan from My Morning Jacket on 'Golden' and Ira Elliot and Matthew Caws of Nada Surf on a cover of Nada Surf's 'Always Love'.

America launched the album with an appearance on 'Late Night With David Letterman' this week when they performed 'Ride On' with Adams and Kweller.

A US tour with 100 dates will be announced soon.
