The long-awaited fourth Strokes album kicks off today’s list of solo projects, remixes and indie comebacks.
The biggest release of the week is surely the much-anticipated fourth album Angles from The Strokes, which has already been leaked, then streamed by the band. Not that this will hurt sales, since it has been five years since their last album.
Also this week, Chris Brown tries out another comeback with F.A.M.E., featuring guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Justin Bieber, Timbaland and Wiz Khalifa.
Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkey’s has the Submarine soundtrack EP.
Oz legend Dave Graney releases Rock N Roll Is Where I Hide, as does Radio Birdman’s Deniz Tek with Citadel Years.

Soundgarden air their long-lost live album Live On I-5, and New York Dolls release their third post-reunion album Dancing Backwards In High Heels.
In solo adventures, Dinosaur Jr’s J. Mascis dishes up the acoustic collaborative effort Several Shades Of Why, Blink 182’s drummer Travis Barker showcases his all-star album Give The Drummer Some and Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger offers her debut Killer Love.
UK breakbeat champs Stanton Warriors will release their fourth studio album The Warriors and Ke$ha delivers a remix album I Am The Dance Commander + I Command You To Dance.
Also, Lionel Richie and Guy Sebastian’s ‘All Night Long’ charity duet for Christchurch earthquake and Queensland Flood appeals is available on iTunes today.
