After 26 years, Barnesy returns to the early Cold Chisel haunt to launch the eponymous single.
Jimmy Barnes headed back to the iconic Largs Pier Hotel in north Adelaide, where Cold Chisel got their start back in the ‘70s.
He was there to launch his latest single, ‘Largs Pier Hotel’, from last year’s Rage And Ruin album.
He beamed, “It’s amazing I haven’t been here in so long… it still has the same atmosphere, it’s fantastic.”
Local MP Kevin Foley was there to bestow a plaque recognising the hotel’s unique place in Australian rock history as the breeding ground of “Australia’s greatest band”.
‘Largs Pier Hotel’ is available now, as is the Rage And Ruin album.
