Sydney based indie rock band Cloud Control has taken out the Australian Music Prize for 2010, earning them an impressive $30,000.
The award was given for their debut album ‘Bliss Release‘ which was released in May last year through Ivy League Records.
The AMP is judged by a panel of music media, artists and other industry personnel and judges are instructed to vote on the quality of music alone and disregard any commercial success they might have had.

2007 - The Mess Hall, Devil’s Elbow
2008 - Eddy Current Suppression Ring - Primary Colours
2009 - Lisa Mitchell - Wonder
