24 hours after Charlie Sheen switched on this Twitter account he has generated more than 1 million followers.
Sheen hired a social media company to get him into Twitter so that he could talk directly to the fans and bypass the media.
As he hit the magic million mark he posted, “In all sincerity … thank you Twitter community for the warm reception & followers that helped me get to 1M in 24 hours”.
His social media tutors have instructed him to be visible and regular on Twitter and that's what Charlie has indeed been doing.
In fact when he didn’t post for an hour and a half he came back on and apologised. “Pardon my absence … My first concern is my kids … Back soon”.
Sheen has also tweeted a picture when he is out at a game and another slap at Chuck Lorre. “Just got invited to do the Nancy Grace show… I’d rather go on a long road trip with Chuck Lorre in a ’75 Pacer”.
Charlie has been the subject of both positive and negative press since his well-staged tantrum against Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre last week. Lorre has since cancelled the hit TV show.
