The rumours are true, Rage Against The Machine and the Coachella Festival have both confirmed the political rap/metal legends will reform for a show in April.
Rage became one of the most powerful political voices in music throughout the nineties and their track 'Killing In The Name' (no, there is no 'Of' in that title). The band lasted four albums, which included one covers album where they turned up the volume on some fitting and some left-field artists including The Rolling Stones, Cypress Hill and The MC5.
Citing "musical differences", the band went their separate ways in 2000 when Tom Morello, Tim Cummerford and Brad Wilk joined ex-Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and formed Audioslave.
It is unclear on the future of Audioslave, although Chris Cornell recently went solo (again) to record the latest James Bond theme.
