Paul McCartney has been a regular performer at the Adopt-A-Minefield charity gala held every year and run by his estranged wife Heather Mills-McCartney, but this year he will not attend.
McCartney has said that he did not want to overshadow the event, which guests like Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom have reportedly paid $US900 to attend.Media reports still continue to report "friends" of the couple insisting they're on good terms and remaining friends.
McCartney officially said "While I continue to be committed to Adopt-A-Minefield and its critical mission, given the current circumstances I will not be able to attend."
