Rock legends AC/DC will add to their live catalogue with a CD/DVD pack from the Black Ice Tour.
Another installment of goodies has been announced, as singer Brian Johnson revealed that the band will release another live album and DVD set.
He said that the performances were shot during their shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which took place on December 2, 4 and 6 in 2009 at the Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti.
Footage has popped up of Johnson speaking to motoring media outlet Oversteer at the Historic Sportscar Racing event at Palm Beach International Raceway on January 18.
He said, “We’ve got a new live album which we shot in Argentina at the end of the last tour, which was about September. The live album comes out, with the video of those concerts, in about six weeks or something. So I’m looking forward to that.”
But this may be the last of it for quite a while, as the band finally takes a break.
He added, “After that [the live package] we haven’t made any plans. We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest.”
It will be their sixth live album and "about six weeks or something" suggests mid-April.
