Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins has put together a compilation of rare Queen songs with Brian May and Roger Taylor.
‘Deep Cuts Volume One 1973-1976’ is not a greatest hits record. Moreso, it is a collection of 14 songs Queen fans discovered on their early albums.
Hawkins is a massive Queen fan. At one stage, Hawkins, Dave Grohl and Roger Taylor from Queen once played ‘We Will Rock You’ together on VH1. Taylor and Brian May also guest starred on the Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders album last year.
Queen ‘Deep Cuts’ will accompany the first five remastered Queen reissues coming through new label Universal in March. Those albums are ‘Queen’, ‘Queen II’, Sheer Heart Attack’, ‘A Night At The Opera’ and ‘A Day At The Races’
