Lemmy stars in the clip for Foo Fighters’ screamy new track as the band offers their album title, tracklist and doco.
The Motorhead singer and rock icon takes the wheel of a white limo to ferry the band around for their new track… ‘White Limo’.
The song’s as ballsy as Dave Grohl has been promising, with thrashy guitars and heavily distorted screaming vocals.
This comes hot on the heels of news that their seventh album will be called Wasting Light.
They’ve also released a tracklisting: ‘Bridge Burning’, ‘Rope’, ‘Dear Rosemary’, ‘White Limo’, ‘Arlandria’, ‘These Days’, ‘Back And Forth’, ‘A Matter Of Time’, ‘Miss The Misery’, ‘I Should Have Known’ and ‘Walk’.
Unsurprisingly, the searing ‘White Limo’ isn’t the first official single from Wasting Light. That would be ‘Rope’, due out on March 1.
Wasting Light will be released on April 8, as will a new documentary about the band from Oscar-winning director James Moll covering the life of the band from Nirvana to now.
In the meantime, headbang to this.
