Foo Fighters bring back the fun with a video for single ‘Walk’ that parodies Falling Down.
It’s a relief to see that the Foos can have fun again following a string of mostly dead-straight “rocking” videos that almost destroyed the possibility of another ‘Learn To Fly’ or ‘Everlong’.
‘White Limo’s viral ‘80s thrash clip was a promising addition and now the clip for the second official single ‘Walk’ has been put up on their dot com.
It’s a riff on the 1993 Michael Douglas “mad as hell/just can’t take it anymore” social drama Falling Down, with Grohl going on a rampage after getting caught in traffic.
The clip takes a cheeky swipe at Bush, Bieber and Coldplay before Grohl’s bandmates unwittingly antagonise him all the way to band practice.
