Foo Fighters put up another track and cover art from their new album as Dave Grohl collects his Godlike Genius award.
Nowhere near as heavy as their first offering ‘White Limo’, the track ‘Rope’ will be the first official single from their new album Wasting Light.
They’re streaming it through their website here and released their kaleidoscopic cover art for the album.
Dave Grohl also picked up his Godlike Genius award at the NME Awards at the London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
He said when accepting his award, “You guys realise they gave this one to a drummer, right? This one's for the drummers!”
The band then played a version of Mose Allison’s ‘Young Man Blues’ with The Who’s Roger Daltrey before a set of their own songs.
Wasting Light will be released on April 12.
