The Wiggles handed over a cheque for $50,000 at a New York fire station on Friday to honor a fireman who lost his life in the September 11 attacks.
The Aussie act gave the money to the Brian Cannizzaro Memorial Fund, Cannizzaro was one of seven members from the Ladder 101/Engine 202 unit killed on 911.60 children from the units families were invited to come along and meet The Wiggles. One visitor was Cannizzaro's 6 year old son.
The Wiggles performed their song 'Fruit Salad' for the crowd.
