After critical acclaim and audience adulation, dreamy pop songstress Sarah Blasko is recording her second album.
The Sydney singer songwriter earned plaudits and gold sales for her debut album 'The Overture & The Underscore' driven by the intoxicating singles 'Always Worth It', 'Don't U Eva' and 'Counting Sheep', constant touring and even an appearance at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.'The Overture & The Underscore' was recorded in California and for her follow-up album, Blasko has headed to the Big Apple, to get it mixed by Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/Beth Orton/PJ Harvey). The album was actually recorded at Neil Finn's studio in Auckland, with the fourteen tracks co-produced by Blasko, singer/songwriter Jim Moginie and longtime accomplice Robert F Cranny.
Expect the album out later in the year through Dew Process and Universal and expect it to be drop-dead gorgeous.
