Hot UK brother band The Cribs has signed to Warner Music for the release of their major label debut.
Ryan, Gary and Ross Jarman hail from Wakefield, UK.The Cribs includes twins Ross and Gary, putting the band in that rare list of acts with twins which includs Bros, the Bee gees, The Breeders, Good Charlotte, Styx, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Nelson and The Veronicas.
The Cribs released two independent albums on the Wichita label. 'the Cribs' and 'The New Fellas' were both released in 2005.
The Warner debut is being produced by Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos in Canada. Sessions for the album began in November and will be completed in New York. Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) will mix the record.
Warner expects to release The Cribs album towards to middle of 2007.
