The Cribs have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour.
The band were scheduled to support Franz Ferdinand.A brief statement released by the promoter today said:
“It's with great regret that The Cribs are unable to make their planned trip to Australia in the New Year, the band is currently holed up in the studio working on their 4th album and they look forward to coming to Australia later in the year with their new 4-piece line up.
“The band apologises for any disappointment caused, but the new record has to take priority for now.”
The gigs will still go ahead without them and a replacement will be announced soon. Red Riders are still on the bill.
