Scottish rock act The Silencers will get back together to raise money for their cancer-stricken guitarist Cha Burns.
A one-off benefit gig is planned for February 9th at the ABC in Glasgow.The Silencers formed 1986 and scored a couple of British hits in 1988-199 with 'Painted Moon' and 'Scottish Rain'.
Over the years, the band has toured with David Bowie, U2 and Simple Minds.
The original line-up plans on performing the show, pending how well 48 year old Burns is on the day.
