Actress Jane Badler is planning the release of her second solo album ‘Tears Again‘ after having worked with one of Australia’s top composers.
The American born Badler released her debut solo album in 2008 utilising her theatre-trained voice and she was so happy with it that she decided to do it all over again.
The album is called ‘Tears Again‘ and is a collaborative album with SIR and features a melodramatic tinge that represents her roles in television soaps of the 70s and 80s (and most recently, Australian soap ‘Neighbours’). Her husky voice enhances the dramatic flair that her music portrays.
The album was produced and arranged by Australian jazz composer Paul Grabowsky who has worked with a number of other artists including Katie Noonan and The Audreys as well as releasing 25 albums of his own.
‘Tears Again‘ will be released in Australia on March 18, 2011 through Inertia Distribution and fans in Melbourne will get the chance to check her out live at The Famous Spiegeltent on Thursday, March 10.
The track listing for ‘Tears Again‘ is:
