Dan Deacon has found himself an unlikely collaborator in filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola - the musician will compose the score to the legendary director’s upcoming film, ‘Twixt Now and Sunrise’.
Deacon is best known for his wild live shows where he manages to whip thousands of hipsters into a frenzy from behind a table covered in effects pedals and synth generators, while Coppola is best known for ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Apocalypse Now’.
Twixt Now and Sunrise stars Val Kilmer in the lead role and was filmed at Coppola’s Californian estate, as well as several remote locations throughout the state and will be in cinemas later this year.
Deacon has not had an album since 2009's 'Bromst'.
