Dan Deacon has been hospitalised after suffering severe pains in his back and leg, forcing him to cancel the remaining dates of his tour.
Deacon told fans via his Facebook Fan Page that his “pain had come to a peak and it was impossible to bear and it was frightening,” and that “it sucked major dick.”All of this was happening last Wednesday, and after seeing a massage therapist and an acupuncturist and failing to see a chiropractor he “bit the bullet” and took himself down to the E.R. where they gave him some painkillers and (Note: If you are in serious pain, go to the real doctor FIRST and the witch doctor’s SECOND.)
Five shows have been cancelled, but Deacon says he hopes to have them rescheduled “ASAP”, despite taking more time to look after his health and less time to take his mind-jolting electro on the road.
The cancelled dates are as follows:
