Foo Fighters have tweeted that they’ve just finished up their eighth studio album.
They tweeted a group shot featuring the band, newly re-added member Pat Smear, producer Butch Vig, Emily Lazar who mastered the album, possibly mixer Alan Moulder and dudes who we might assume is an engineer.
Dave is brandishing bottle, captioned with the tweet “Ladies and gentlemen......we are officially done. Champagne, anyone?”
They also tweeted a link to an ear-splitting ten-second sample of the album - with the caption ‘White Limo’ – that confirms their constant claims that this album will be their heaviest yet.
The band have booked huge festivals throughout Europe in June and July so we can presume the new album will be out before then.
