Manc folk-rockers Elbow will name their fifth album ‘Build A Rocket Boys!’ and are due to release in in the first week of March.
The album was recorded once again in Blueprint Studios in Salford with producer Craig Potter and Manchester’s Halle Youth Choir will make an appearance on the record.
“I didn't know whether it was good or not for a couple of weeks, but I'm very happy with it now,” singer Guy Garvey told BBC 6.
“It's quite a nostalgic thing. I've got a thing about growing up, not needing to, but a certain period of your life when - well kids are called 'hoodies' these days aren't they when they reach their teens. I remember it being an amazing important time, so I've written a lot about that.”
The track listing for ‘Build A Rocket Boys!’ is:
Lippy Kids
The Birds
With Love
Neat Little Rows
Jesus Is A Rochdale Girl
The Night Will Always Win
High Ideals
The River
Open Arms
The Birds (Reprise)
