Britney tweets madly about her forthcoming album.
Her seventh record will be called Femme Fatale and is set to be released on March 15.
She wrote “I've poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years. I've put everything I have into it. This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all!”
She described it as “Sexy and Strong. Dangerous yet mysterious. Cool yet confident!”
She also tweeted a shot of the cover art, which features - surprise surprise - a photo of her face. She’s platinum blonde at the moment..
A press release followed it up, gushing that the album is “a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men. It's not a conceptual album, Spears is letting the music speak for itself. She's worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her ‘best album to date,’ true to where she is now personally and professionally.”
The first single ‘Hold It Against Me’ beat out Kanye and Jay-Z to the top of the charts a couple of weeks back.
