Shortly after booking their US tour, metal icons Motorhead book another visit to Oz.
For those who have never experienced the ear-splitting, heartbeat-altering majesty that is a Motorhead show, theyr’e a must-see in any music fan’s lifetime.
No doubt Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey will provide another powerhouse display of four decades of genre-defining speed metal (and a splash of blues for good measure).
This is on the verge of the Lemmy doco being released, where every metal and rock artist worth their salt (from Dave Grohl to Slash to Steve Vai to Alice Cooper to Mick Jones of The Clash) have come out to sing the praises of the only true remaining metal icon.
Motorhead will conquer Australia next March and April, hitting Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and the Gold Coast (but not Brisbane).
Tickets to the Melbourne show go on sale through Ticketmaster on January 12, and the Adelaide show through Venuetix and Sydney and Gold Coast through Ticketek on December 23.

Since nothing can match the ferocity of Motorhead, the best we can do is direct you to our recent interview with Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, who is surely another superstar fan.
