Dr. Dre is breaking a twelve year musical drought with the release of ‘Detox’, due out next year.
It will be the first album Dre has released under his own name since his 1999 album ‘2001’, although he has been very busy working with other artists, most notably Eminem in that time.
‘Detox’ will feature guest appearances by Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Jay-Z, The Game and what promises to be a particularly interesting collaboration, La Roux.
The first single ‘Kush’ features Snoop Dogg and Akon and is available to download today (November 21).
The album is expected to be released in February.
