The first line-up of artists for SXSW 2011 includes Klaxons, Erykah Badu and making his solo debut Jon Fratelli from The Fratellis.
The Fratellis went into “hiatus” in 2009 after forming in 2005 and releasing just two studio albums.
Jon Fratelli (John Lawler, they aren’t really brothers), has spent this year working on his debut solo album due around SXSW time.
Both Klaxons and Erykah Badu have played SXSW before. Klaxons released their second album ‘Surfing the Void’ this year and Badu put out ‘New Amerykah Part Two’ also this year.
SXSW 2011 will be held March 16-20 in Austin, Texas.
