Powderfinger’s final television performance will be at the 2010 ARIA Awards in Sydney.
During their career, Powderfinger have won 16 ARIA’s including three consecutive ‘Album of the Year’ awards.
The band is currently in the final stages of their farewell tour that will end in their hometown Brisbane on November 13 bringing the band to an end.
Powderfinger are Australia’s most successful band of the 90s and 00s. They formed in Brisbane in 1989 and have not had a line-up change since their debut album.
Powderfinger released 7 studio albums, one live album, two DVD’s and more than 30 video clips. They have performed more than 1000 shows during their career.
The 2010 ARIA Awards will be held on Sunday, November 7 at the Sydney Opera House.
