Ted Nugent is expanding his activities with the U.S. cable network The Outdoors Channel by entering into a multi-year endorsement agreement that will cover not only his current program, Spirit of the Wild, but will extend to all media including the internet and live appearances.
Nugent will become much more heavily involved in the Outdoor Channels' promotional activities "highlighting the network's unique relationship with hunters, marksmen and beyond." He will be hosting the network's Tuesday night primetime programming block along with making appearances at consumer events and trade shows. Ted will also provide exclusive content for the network's website OutdoorChannel.com.
Tom Hornish, Chief Operating Officer for the network, said "Ted Nugent is a marquee personality and we're delighted to expand our longstanding relationship, which spans over a decade, as he takes on a prominent brand ambassador role. Ted is an outdoor icon who will bring a greater level of recognition and appeal to the network as it continues to engage audiences with its unique connection to the biggest on-air celebrities in the outdoor entertainment industry."
