Melbourne's biggest rock band of the 21st century, Jet, have announced they will return to Australia next month to perform two special shows to show off their new material.
Drummer Chris Cester said today in a press release ""After half a year hunkered down over a hot tape machine, we can't wait to get on stage at home again and show people what we've come up with. These new songs are something else, trust us!"It has been a quiet year for Jet, as they've been busily working away in a Los Angeles studio for months on their much anticipated (and very difficult) second album.
You would be forgiven for thinking Jet have forgotten the small people of Australia, with their last show in the country being their headline slot for Sydney's Homebake in 2004 and these two shows will be their ONLY shows in Oz until next year.
Tickets for both shows are on sale at 9am, August 3rd from Ticketek. Dates are:
Tuesday August 15th - The Forum, Melbourne
Thursday August 17th - The Enmore, Sydney
