Former Guns N Roses bassist Duff McKagan hits the stage with Axl Rose.
The Guns N Roses concert at London’s O2 Arena saw McKagan play four songs with his old band.
He was reportedly brought onstage to play the classic ‘You Could Be Mine’, Rose Tattoo cover ‘Nice Boys’ and Dylan cover ‘Knockin On Heaven’s Door’, and came out with a tambourine for an encore of ‘Patience’.
It was the first time McKagan has played with the band since 1993.
Original guitarist Izzy Stradlin has played with Axl many times since 2006.
McKagan, Slash and drummer Matt Sorum have been together in Velvet Revolver since 2002 but neither Slash nor Sorum have played with Gunners since they were booted out of the band.
Sorum has expressed interest in a full Guns N Roses reunion in the past (also with original drummer Steven Adler) but Slash will probably be the one to stymie that idea, as his feud with Axl continues.
