Dannii Minogue has topped the UK Upfront Club Chart with a cover of Sister Sledge's 'He's the Greatest Dancer'.
The perpetual second fiddle to the Kylie juggernaut, Dannii has managed to carve out a rather tasty musical career by focussing on the clubs with clever dancefloor fillers and remixes. The song is unashamed disco funk and directly aimed at the clubs. Dannii's website claims that 'He's The Greatest Dancer' is her eleventh UK club number one.Dannii performed the song on BBC's 'Children In Need' charity appeal in November 2006 alongside Jamiroquai, All Saints, Sandi Thom, Ronan Keating and more. In December she returned to Australia to join her sister on stage, performing 'Kids' for Kylie's Showgirl Homecoming Tour - the first time they've performed together in 19 years. Dannii also appeared at Melbourne's Carol's By Candlelight, appropriately singing 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' with a 40 piece orchestra on Christmas Eve.
She released her 20-track compilation 'The Hits & More', featuring her highest charting songs and six new tracks, mid-2006 and it debuted in the UK Top Twenty yet failed to bother Australia's Top Fifty.
