Wrecking Ball has had mixed reviews, however negative reviews have apparently been ignored by the record buying public in the U.K. Wrecking Ball debuted at number 1 on March 11th, having sold 74,000 copies.
Springsteen and the E Street Band join the top rank and file of Gotye which has topped the singles chart for four consecutive weeks with "Somebody I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra.
Wrecking Ball is the 9th album that has topped the U.K charts for the Boss since the release of Born In The USA 28 years ago.
