APRA has announced that applications for the Professional Development Awards (PDAs) are now open giving eight songwriters and composers the chance at winning a prize package worth over $25,000.
APRA presents the Professional Development Awards every two years.
Each of the eight winners will receive the $25,000 value of prizes made up of cash, products, travel, education and recognition.
As well, two more awards, The Jessica Michalik Contemporary Music Endowment and the UTAS – Stephen Schwatz Songwriting Award, each with a $10,000 development grant, will also be awarded to an Australian songwriter or group.
You have until Monday, November 29, 2010 to put in an application. The winners will be announced in March, 2011.
